The Parenting Toolkit offers a variety of engaging early childhood and parenting workshops that provide essential information to under-resourced communities. These workshops serve parents, families, educators and other community members.
Tanya Burrell is a California native, wife, and mother of two teens. She carries a Master of Arts degree in Child Development from San Jose State University and near two decade's worth of experience as an educator facilitating the learning of children as they see themselves as problem solvers, social thinkers, innovators, and caring hearts.
During this time, Tanya has also had the opportunity to facilitate the learning of parents and educators as partners in education, highlighting her understanding that children and adults thrive with a community of love and support.
Tanya is a certified Positive Discipline Early Childhood Educator and Parent Educator.
The goal of The Parenting Toolkit is to connect with our community members and to provide information to help them understand young children, how they grow, think and learn. We seek to help members develop tools that will both positively support children and form stronger families.
